I'm Lovin' It

Things I love about China... well, a few... the list is rather long at this point

... no tipping, most of the time they won't accept it. one lady came running out of the restaurant to give us 1kuai in change... sweet

...walking everywhere... love it except when we buy liters of pop at the grocery several blocks away... thank goodness for rolling shopping bags...

...rolling shopping bags...

...bringing my own shopping bags... woo green movement... and they are cute ;-)

...nationals that know how to speak English (totally made my day today while grocery shopping)

...the surrounding beauty

...ditching the shoes at the door

...fresh fruit and veggies (i eat them here, but not normally in the States)

...DVD store... need I say more? ;-) then again it was a fav in the states... but really... i like paying in kuai better, haha

...chopsticks!!! almost a pro... almost

...telling jokes... totally tanks... and really, only I think things are funny :-D ((i tried to explain to my English as a Second//or third//Language kids what smooshed was, that was funny)) I'll have to post about the one day I had them write jokes... oi

...traffic, the person that takes the right-of-way, has it... he who hesitates becomes roadkill... i like not having to drive in this setting... (never thought i'd say that!)

...the blank stares i get on the street

...that Starbuck's and McDonald's seem to be universal, and still expensive (don't like that part, but do enjoy an occasional visit, slurge)

...how the body supports one another no matter where in the world they are

...knowing this is where I'm supposed to be

...He has the whole world in His hands
