We've gotten into school swing of things... our first 5 day week this week... it will feel like a marathon after two 3 day weeks. :-) My kids are great, just doing the beginning of the year things, rules, routines, bathroom breaks, testing, setting up habits and my office. It's a busy time, but a refreshing time in that we are getting to know each other better and becoming a family.
Roommates and I are continuing to adventure and explore! The other night we saw dancing in the streets; people just cutting the rug right there in the town square (well, one of them anyway). It was beautiful. We just stopped and starred. (it was a bit of a role reversal, haha!)
We are still finding out how to cook. Well, more of re-learning how to make things. All of us remember cooking in the States, but figuring out what we can and cannot get is another story. Some of the great things we've found: chicken breasts (for the equivalent of 1USD/ 2 chicken breasts), dragon fruit, baking potatoes (3 for ~0.50USD), lots of veggies and fruits!!
Our bus leaves early, so off to bed I must go! :-)
