WOO!! Just got back from the ISC Basketball Tournament!! (ISC is the association that my school is a part of: International Schools of China) All of our players were AMAZING! My girls played their HEARTS out!! And were AWESOME!!! We played hard, we played well, and we played clean games. After knowing the girls for a week and a half, having only 6 practices, and 7 out of 10 players being freshmen, we got 2nd PLACE OVERALL!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game for the championship was a heart breaker. We led for all but the last 5 minutes and finally lost by 2 points in the last 24 seconds.... but we ROCKED OUT!!! They showed character and pose and abilities beyond their years. I'm SO PROUD!!!
Now today is for recovering from having adrenaline pumping through my veins, regaining my voice, and allowing my legs to relax after standing for two and a half days... and for reflecting on how great HE is and how blessed I am to be a part of these girls lives, and how He has surrounded me with wonderful people!!
