Fun with Skittles in Math... and with a camera
Life is going well. Both roommates are sick. One has a cold, the other has more than a cold. I've been covering both 2nd grade classes for this past week... always interesting. 17 wiggly bodies and desks crammed in a small room... WOO.
I'm learning that I place way too many expectations on myself that are too hard to live up to. My to-do lists are longer than my arm and I want to get it all done NOW. But, alas, reality doesn't allow such things. There are new graces every morning. I need to start fresh each day and not get caught up in the details and "doing." I was able to share Good News with my students and that was an excited beginning to our day.
We're going on a field trip Friday to Rain Forrest Park ... what fun that shall be... :-) pictures will be posted...
